Adapted aquatics is a swimming program with modified teaching techniques to accomodate clients of any ability. Participants benefit from learning water safety awareness, strategies, swimming strokes, recreational skills, working with others, instruction and discipline, sensory stimulation, and calming techniques.
The farm is located in Leucadia, CA. We have chickens, ducks, roosters, and rabbits. We will be adding to the farm as animals are rescued or donated by the community.
The farm includes majestic gardens and pathways, calming water fountains and relaxation areas, vegetable gardens and fruit trees, and several large rare adult plants such as a bamboo section and a mulberry tree.
The farm is available for field trips, public events and activities, company collaborations, and provides many volunteer opportunities.
In a fun and joyful environment clients will follow instruction to encourage the mind and body to work together to music.
Participants will build motor skills, practice self expression, social and emotional practices, motor, language, and overall literacy, calming techniques, and sensory opportunities.
Your child will learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, swim/dive, baseball, volleyball, and surf.
The Adapted Sport Fundamentals program builds confidence, promotes health and fitness, sportsmanship, and encourages mind and body to work together.
Our Adapted Child's Play (ACP) program teaches children of all abilities to learn, grow, and develop through the magic of play.
Our adapted physical education teachers and play facilitators are trained to assist your child in developing critical gross motor skills that are needed to be successful on todays playgrounds and playing fields.
ACP can help your child meet their physical education minutes as required by the state of California for all school -aged children.
